Welcome to JD’S Football School Ltd

The Company was created and led by Jamie Decruz in the summer of 2011. JD’S Football School looks at the FA’S LTPD Model to help young footballers develop.

The 4-corner model outlines the factors that need to be considered as a young player grows and develops in the game. The model is appropriate to player’s aged 5 to 21.

The FA 4 Corner Long Term Player Development Model (LTPD)

TECHNICAL:

Practices and match play appropriate to the needs of individuals within the group, including varying activities and optional positional roles. Improve the player technically this includes basics such as passing the ball, controlling the ball and shooting.

PHYSICAL:
Physical growth and human performance, linked to each player’s chronological and biological age, including frequency, intensity and duration of activities, and developmental skills. When coaching the children we keep them in their respected age groups in order to help aid their development.

PSYCHOLOGICAL:

Improve the player’s psychological approach to the sport. Firstly ensure they enjoy participating the rest will follow. Help grow players football knowledge from a young age in order for their understanding of the game to be better in the future.

SOCIAL:
The influence of life at home, school, community plays a big part in a child’s life. We provide a friendly and safe environment in which children can talk to the coaches. We all learn from each other. We lead a variety of different team related games in which the children use their social skill in order to help complete a task.
