“Joél first attended JDFS at the age of 5 where he began to show an interest in football. Joél grew in confidence which in turn grew his football. Jamie and coaches covered all aspects of his football which In turn grew his skills and passion for the game. They encouraged his knowledge and creativity and his flair for the ball developed. Through JDFS he began to play football for a team and was moved to a Friday night elite programme. The programme developed his ability focusing on his individual needs whilst having fun. Joél played numerous matches for JDFS and was then selected to attend the pre academy at Crystal Palace. From this he has now become an academy under 9s player for the season on 17/18. Joél continues to attend the holiday programmes with JDFS.

Daley Brill (U9)

” Daley spent 2 years at JDFS at under 7’s and under 8’s level. Daley needed at the time the hard training drills and technical work that JDFS offered. Also one of Daley’s biggest weakness was his confidence which he found wholey at JDFS soccer school. Thanks to Jamie and all the staff for helping Daley achieve his goals and getting him over the line at Crystal Palace FC where after 2 years at JDFS he was offered a year contract at the premier league club. JDFS played a huge part in helping Daley achieve his 1st high level contract and now has the opportunity to push forward and improve at a professional club due to all the hard work and time the academy has put into Daley’s progression. “

Lee Kyprianou (U9)
AFC Wimbledon

My son has been attending JDFS for just under 2 years now. He loves it and wont miss a session or a holiday camp. Jamie & his coaches focus on each child as individuals & as a team. They cover all aspects of training & also concentrate on each child’s weaknesses. They care about the kids & as a parent that’s important to know. Within the 1st year at JDFS my son has signed a professional football contract at AFC Wimbledon but would only sign on the terms he could continue training with JD.I would definitely recommend JDFSto send your child.”

Max Holland (U9)
AFC Wimbledon

“Max first attended JDFS in the summer of 2011 when the football school was just starting and max was 5. Max was really shy so I had to stay him for a few days but the JD boys made him feel so confident that I was able to leave him after a few days (He wouldn’t leave my side before this). Max has been attending JD regularly to date and played a huge part in his development. This year he got offered the chance to sign for AFC Wimbledon after playing two seasons at Sutton United. I would like to say a BIG THANKS to Jamie and team for all that you’ve done, I can’t believe 5 years have flown so quickly. Highly Recommend JDFS! “

Louie Hunt (U9)
AFC Wimbledon

” Louie has been attending the football school regularly with Jamie since he was 5. Louie really enjoys the coaching and this is due to the sessions being made fun but also challenging and therefore helps develop the children. JDFS teach the children to be comfortable on the ball and help improve players technically as well as teamwork and how to play in a match scenario. Louie has learnt so much and is now benefiting from starting at an early age. I was really proud when Louie signed for AFC Wimbledon this year and I highly recommend the football school. “

Jake Lawrence (U9)
AFC Wimbledon

“Jake began taking coaching from Jamie around the age of 6 and from the very beginning he LOVED IT! Not only was the coaching to a very high standard but Jamie and his coaches always made it fun so the children were enjoying it at all times. The coaching sessions were very varied but most importantly PERSONAL so much so we now consider Jamie a family friend as he played a integral part in Jakes development. Although Jake has now signed for AFC Wimbledon and doesn’t attend JD as much as he would like we know that he can pop by whenever and would be welcome. It has been a real pleasure watching Jamie’s business grow and we wish him all the best for the future.”

Sam Lawrence (Mum)

Charlie Bland (U9)

“Charlie loves attending JDFS. Charlie first attended a holiday camp in the summer of 2012. Jamie invited charlie to join a new Sutton United team which he was setting up at U7s. Charlie went from strength to strength and after 6 months he was invited to training with Fulham FC where he signed a contract in 2015. Jamie effortlessly combines teaching technical skills with making football fun for those that attend. The coaches really helped boost Charlie’s confidence and he looks forward to putting on his JD football shirt whenever he can.”

Jorge Barbero (U10)
Crystal Palace

“Jamie first spotted my son whilst playing Vs his Sutton United team last year. Jorge had only been in England for a month and was still adapting to the english game. Jamie invited Jorge down to his elite centre where he worked very closely with Jorge for around two months. He then gave Jorge the opportunity to go on trial at the Crystal Palace Academy. He was offered a 6 week trial and was then signed to join CPFC U10s. We thank Jamie so much and without him this wouldn’t be possible. I often text/email Jamie to see how he is and to let him know how Jorge is progressing.”
